I can relate to that, because I was in that exact same spot just a few short years ago.

My Story

I 2012 my diet and lifestyle was a real mess. I was drinking too much and eating pretty much anything I felt like, and my health really suffered because of it.

Finally, one day I decided I’d had enough.

I was simply sick and tired of feeling sick and tired all the time.

The first thing I knew I had to do was step away from the alcohol for a while. I tried for 30 days, and although it was difficult, I managed to stay alcohol free for the full 30 days.

And I noticed some significant changes.

First, I felt much better than I had in years. And not only that, I had lost 15 pounds!

Clothes that I hadn’t worn in years were all of a sudden back in my wardrobe.

And the gout that plagued me constantly was beginning to seem like a distant memory.

I decided to try for 30 more days, and I made that too, in spite of good-natured ribbing from lots of my friends.

I was pretty popular, but not because I’m, such a fun guy to be around, even though that’s true…

All of a sudden I was everybody’s designated driver!

I didn’t mind, all long as everyone was having fun and staying safe.

But I still had one problem, and a pretty serious one at that.

My diet just plain sucked. I mean, fast food drive thru twice a day, potato chips, cookies, cake, pastries, you name it. Basically everything that was bad for you was on my menu.

I figured, hey, what the heck. I quit drinking, and that was good enough, right?

Except all the weight I had lost, went right back on. And then some.

Fitness Quest

So just like when I drinking, I knew I had to do something.

And I did what you’ve probably done in the past.

I scoured the Internet, looking for information on food addiction, unhealthy eating habits, and how to break the cycle.

And slowly but surely, I learned as much as I could about the confusing and fascinating world of nutrition and wellness.

And, like turning around an aircraft carrier, thing began to turn around for me.

The more I researched, the more I realized I had no idea what I was doing.

And then one day, I happened upon a site that would change my life. Literally change my life.

I’ll be forever grateful to Yuri Elkaim, my nutrition and wellness mentor. His vast knowledge and holistic approach to health and wellness resonated with me immediately, and I’m still following his advice and teaching to this day.
